Foundation bolts, also called anchor bolts, are commonly used in construction, to secure a wooden frame to a cement slab. Cut thread bolts are designed so the bolt is the same diameter as the thread. These are available for the anchor bolts we stock. Other cut threaded bolts are available through special order. 	Carriage Bolts	Carriage Bolts are designed to keep the bolt from turning when a nut is tightened. The Short Necked type is used in sheet metal where a standard size neck would create an obstruction.
	Elevator Bolts	This is a bolt with a wide, countersunk flat head, a shallow conical bearing surface, an integrally-formed square neck under the head, and a unified pitch. A popular use for this bolt is in a conveyor system.
	Flange Bolts
	Foundation Bolts, Cut Thread	Foundation bolt is another name for anchor bolts. Foundations name comes from holding a house onto the foundation.
	Frame Bolts	This is a one-piece Hex-Washer head bolt with a flat bearing surface, made of high alloy steel. For use in truck frames. The flange eliminates washers and helps compensate for a misaligned hole, Used with a Frade0Gt lock nut, the bolt system resists bolt slippage by distributing the clamp load over a wider area.
	Hanger Bolts	Hanger Bolts are threaded at both ends. One end is a lag screw thread, the other end has a bolt thread.
	Heavy Hex Bolts	A low carbon steel Hex Head Bolt with a wider head than that of a standard Hex bolt. It offers greater wrenching area than standard Hex Machine bolts for use in heavy duty industrial work.
	Hex Cap Screws	Hex Cap Screws are an externally threaded mechanical device 1/4" diameter or larger, with a trimmed hex head and a washer face on the bearing surface.
	Hex Machine Bolt	Hex bolts are bolts with a hexagonal head on one end, with no washer face on the bearing surface, and a threaded shaft on the other end; hex bolts are tightened with a wrench, they are used to connect metal parts. (The body tolerances of hex bolts are not as close as those of hex cap screws.)
