Clevis Safety Hook with Latch-Gr. 40 & 70
Clevis end hooks or grab and slip hooks with a clevis end connection, helps to permit a rapid attachment and/or removal from chain. A pin with a cotter pin is installed which is easily removed from the pin releases the chain. The Clevis Safety Hook has a safty latch and made of Forged Carbon Steel. It is heat treated and plated with a bright zinc finish. These are for use with the Grade 40 chain. The other type is made out of a Forged Alloy Steel, then heat treated and plated with a Yellow Dichromate finish which is for the Grade 70 Chain.
