Clevis Grab Hooks
Grab Hooks are used to shorten or hold a length of chain. They are specially designed with a narrow-grabbing throat that engages the chain between the links for safe, non-slip handling. Two types of materials are used:
1. Forged Carbon steel with heat treat and bright zinc finish: For use with Proof Coil chain (Grade 30) and High Test chain (Grade 40).
2. Forged Alloy steel with heat treat and a Yellow Dichromate: For use with Transport Chain Grade 70 and Alloy Chain (Gr. 80) .
Chain should be ordered for the size of chain on which they are to be used and particular the or grade to match.
