Insulators

Cal Fasteners offers insulators for panels, bus bars, and other applications that require safe, reliable electrical insulation. All our electrical insulators are compression molded from a high-strength, glass-reinforced polyester bulk molding compound (BMC). This specialty material meets the requirements for UL891 safety standards and is UL listed 94-VO for flammability.

Various heights and thread sizes are available—we specialize in insulators from 3/4" to 3” tall. All insulators are hi-pot tested at 3,000 volts and inspected for cracks, short spots, and defects of any kind.

Aluminum inserts are standard; brass or steel inserts are available upon request. Please see individual product listings for full specifications.
